A couple of weeks ago I got a random facebook invite to check out the Negative Stance X Rubbin’ Pavements meet, held in Huntington Beach. Usually I end up driving up and down an assortment of freeways and unknown streets to make it to a good meet that meets all the essentials: good lot, well lit, good cars, won’t get busted for people driving stupidly, but to my surprise this was being held about 3 miles from my house!

Cars & Coffee 5.24.14
When my alarm went off at 5:45 AM this morning my instinct was to hit snooze and skip my regular pre-work shower. Thankfully I realized my alarm was not set for work but for the weekly Cars & Coffee meet held in Irvine, so I jumped out of bed with my new found motivation, downed a bowl of cereal, grabbed the stale remainder of yesterday’s thermos of french roast, and hopped on the freeway for my overdue dose of the early morning automotive mosaic that is Cars & Coffee. Eibach Honda Meet 2014 Pt. 1
My attempt to attend last year’s Eibach Honda Meet was met with miserable failure. I made the long haul all the way out to Storm Stadium near Lake Elsinore with all my gear charged up and ready, tons of water and snacks in my pack, aaaand I forgot my wallet. Needless to say I was fairly frustrated with myself as it meant I could not get into the show since I did not know anyone else attending that year. I ended up having a great time shooting the HUGE dirt parking lot and cars as they were leaving, but I was resolved to make it into the show next time and to be fully prepared. Continue reading
